There are 3 steps to becoming an HJ Promise Accomplisher:
Make the HJ Promise yourself
It’s critical to lead by example and deeply value the promise that you are sharing. By being genuine and true to yourself, others will feel inspired to listen to your story and what you want to share. Go to http://hjpromise.org/ to read about the promise and to sign the pledge.
Educate yourself so you can educate others
In order to be able to commit to the HJ Promise, an individual must go through a standard of education. You are not required to give the education yourself. However, it is great to have this baseline education in your heart and mind as you share the Promise to others.
Be sure that you are in contact with your Local HJ Promise Coordinator as you start this journey. They can also help if you need further help in answering questions, understanding content, or feeling comfortable in verbalizing the elements of the HJ Promise. If you’re unsure of who your Local HJ Promise Coordinator is, please contact your Sub Regional HJ Promise Coordinator listed on the home page.
Share the HJ PRomise!
Reach out to friends, extended family, aquaintances, and even strangers as you share about the Hyo Jeong Promise. To become an official HJ Accomplisher, you need a tribe of 43 youth and young adults that have gone through the HJ Promise Education, received a sanctifying prayer, and signed the pledge. See below for the details on these qualifications.

for committing to the HJ Promise
These three things must be completed for an individual to be marked as one of the 43 individuals for an HJ Accomplisher.
1. Education
This is the critical piece of all three qualifications. It is very important that this Promise is taken with a proper foundation of understanding. Please see the “Education & Resources” page for an explanation of the education standard for the HJ Promise.
2. Sanctifying Prayer
This should be given by someone who has already committed themselves to the HJ Promise after the individual/group has verbally committed to the Promise. Learn more on the “Education & Resources” page.
3. Sign Up
This is accomplished by going to hjpromise.org and joining the HJ Promise movement. Data on who has joined will be collected and can be accessed to make sure you have fulfilled this requirement. See more details on the “Education & Resources” page.
