The HJ Promise is a tool to introduce youth and young adults around the country to the vision and principles of True Parents through the three promises:
A living, thriving, personal relationship with God, my Heavenly Parent
Integrity, purity and fidelity for the sake of my marriage and family
Positively impacting humanity and the world around me
An Accomplisher is a youth or young adult who has made the HJ Promise and has brought 43 other youth or young adults to make the HJ Promise. As a youth or young adult who has yet to receive the Blessing, becoming an Accomplisher is the beginning point for building your tribe. Essentially you are bringing other youth and young adults you are connected to along with you on the journey towards one day receiving the Blessing and embodying True Parents’ teachings.
Through the process of becoming an Accomplisher, each individual grows in their ownership of the Hyo Jeong principles and lifestyle, serving as powerful preparation for their life and receiving the Blessing of marriage.
“The HJ Promise gave me confidence to share about our movement and recognize the three main points that God planned for. When I shared the Promise to my religious friends who aren’t from our movement, they felt the purpose of this promise was beautiful. At first, I was scared that they were not going accept me for who I was or the movement, but they felt it was amazing how I was positive and thought about the bright and peaceful environment. They also felt the Promise can relate with their religion - and I realized this Promise is not for only our movement we believe, it can be relatable to other religions, too.
